Project Brief

This project involved designing and illustrating an informative infographic based on a topic of personal interest. I chose to focus on red pandas, inspired by their unique characteristics and playful nature, which I find both fascinating and visually engaging.

Reflection

I created the infographic using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, combining custom illustrations with typography and layout design. Through this project, I explored how to present large amounts of information in a visually appealing way. Looking back, I feel the layout became slightly overcrowded due to my enthusiasm for including as much detail as possible. This experience taught me the importance of balance, spacing, and allowing visual elements room to breathe in order to communicate information more effectively. I could see this style of design being used in educational environments such as classrooms, museums, or zoo exhibits.
