Project Brief

To design a a set of playing cards based on an art movement  and encorperate it’s unique design style. 

Reflection

I selected Bauhaus and Art Deco as my two themes and ultimately presented the Bauhaus concept as the final version.

For my Bauhaus-inspired card series, I was particularly drawn to the movement’s bold use of color and its strong, structured layouts. In this project, I incorporated a color palette commonly associated with Bauhaus design, featuring vibrant primary tones such as red, blue, and yellow. I balanced these bright hues with a soft cream base to create contrast and harmony within the composition, maintaining a clean and cohesive visual outcome.
