Project Brief

This project involved designing an A5 booklet for a food event called Feast Your Eyes. The brief required us to develop our own logo, color scheme, typography, and imagery, while the text content and back-page logos were provided.

Reflection

I chose lively, vibrant colors such as teal, mustard yellow, and a cream base to create an energetic and inviting feel. The logo was designed in the shape of a skillet, with the text placed inside it to directly reference food while remaining versatile. As the brief specified that the logo needed to suit multiple cuisines not just the Vietnamese food festival so I kept the design adaptable and not overly specific to one culture. Throughout the booklet, I incorporated circles, elongated rounded forms, and splash-like illustrated elements to maintain visual cohesion and balance. I selected a typeface that feels both bold and playful to reflect the atmosphere of the event.
