Project Brief

This project involved designing a bottle label for a brand of absinthe called Anais and creating a print advertisement for the product with the tagline The Artist’s Elixir.

Reflection

I chose to design a simple, slightly Art Nouveau–inspired label featuring floral elements and flowing curves. While staying within the traditional green associated with absinthe, I shifted the tone toward teal to give it a more distinctive and refined feel. For the advertisement, I extracted and enlarged the floral detailing from the label to create visual consistency. I paired this with a bold, traditional typeface inspired by 1890s lettering to reflect the historical associations of the product and reinforce its vintage character.
