Project Brief

This project involved creating a travel-themed animation using Adobe After Effects.

Reflection

For this project, I designed a travel animation inspired by Japan, using a soft pastel colour palette and a simplified illustration style to create a calm and visually appealing aesthetic. I chose a pop-up book concept as the main animation style, as I wanted the piece to feel imaginative and engaging for viewers.

To clearly represent Japan, I incorporated recognisable cultural elements such as iconic foods, animals, and imagery associated with the country. I also included background music to further immerse the audience in the atmosphere and culture of Japan. This project allowed me to explore storytelling through motion design and experimenting with animation techniques.
